ECCB WARNS OF FRAUDULENT STABLECOIN
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) has warned about fraudulent use of its logo concerning a stablecoin being promoted on the Solana blockchain. The ECCB clarifies that it is not associated with any crypto token ventures or public blockchain stablecoins. It advises the public to remain vigilant against scams such as "rug pulls" and "pump and dump" schemes. The ECCB, which concluded its DCash pilot in January 2024, is currently working on DCash 2.0 but does not operate a digital currency or stablecoin. For verified updates, visit the ECCB or DCash websites, and report any suspicious activity to info@eccb-centralbank.org.
